How to Mount an ISO in vSphere

Here are the steps to mount an ISO in vSphere:

> Upload the ISO File: First, upload the ISO file to a datastore. You can do this by logging into the vSphere Client, navigating to the datastore, and uploading the file1.

> Edit Virtual Machine Settings: Right-click the virtual machine you want to mount the ISO to and select Edit Settings.

> Select CD/DVD Drive: In the Virtual Hardware tab, select CD/DVD (IDE) from the list of devices.

> Choose Datastore ISO File: In the CD/DVD Drive section, select Datastore ISO File from the Device Type drop-down menu.

> Browse for ISO: Click the Browse button and navigate to the datastore where you uploaded the ISO file. Select the ISO file and click OK.

> Save and Power On: Save the changes and power on the virtual machine.

Once the virtual machine is powered on, it should boot from the ISO file. Follow the installation instructions for the guest operating system.
